A History of US by Joy Hakim
Joy Hakim wrote a multi volume series called, The History of Us. Learn more about the contents of each volume HERE. I have the series in my personal collection if you would like to take a look at any of the volumes. PBS aired 16 episodes of a series called, Freedom: A History of Us, which was based on these volumes written by Hakim.
The video plugins are out of date so you can't stream these videos but they are available from the public library using Minerva.

Colonial Williamsburg
From the navigation bar on the top click on the History tab. Then select Revolution. There are sections for PEOPLE, MULTIMEDIA, and COLLECTIONS. Alternately, you could click on Fifes and Drums and listen to music from the period, click on clothing to learn about clothing, or learn about trades of the time by clicking on that link.
